General Terms and Conditions Acceptance of Terms These terms and conditions apply to all users of the ScrimCity Site including casual browsers.
Availability We endeavour to indicate if an item is unavailable for any reason. This is updated every week. In the event that you order an item which we subsequently discover is unavailable, we will contact you and let you know when we anticipate that the item will become available. All other items will be dispatched immediately to arrive within the normal timescales.
Description We try to ensure that all of the items shown on the Site are accurately described. Please note that all measurements are approximate.
Provision of information When you order any items from us you will need to provide us with your name, address, e-mail address and credit card details. We will use these details in accordance with ourprivacy policy
You agree to provide true, accurate and complete information about yourself whenever you order any items from us. This includes a valid email address an telephone number.
Pricing All prices are stated in pounds sterling. Prices are exclusive of VAT (See Section VAT & Duty Below). In the unlikely event that you order an item and the price published on the website was incorrect for any reason we will contact you to let you know the correct price and ask you whether you still wish us to continue your order at this price.
Payment You may pay for your order in the following ways
(a) online by using most major Credit and Debit cards
(b) by Cheque or postal order payable to ScrimCity
(c) Using your ScrimCity 30 day account (If set up. Subject to Status)
Delivery UK mainland addresses On all orders received on weekdays before 2:30pm we aim to deliver your order next working day or within 2 working days (Monday to Friday) from confirmation of your order, although it may not always be possible to do so. A delivery charge may be payable if your order is below £85 net (before VAT). You will be notified of any delivery charges when you place your order.
Acceptance of delivery All UK orders over 1kg will be delivered via City-Link, Business Post or TNT, a signature will be required to acknowledge delivery of your order. This signature will be proof that you or a person answering at the given shipping address has received the order. Ownership of the items in your order will pass to you on delivery to the given shipping address. If you know you will not be able to sign for delivery please either provide an alternative delivery address before checkout or under "Delivery Instructions" in checkout - state where the delivery may be left eg "No reply ? Please Leave In porch at Back" or " Please leave with next door neighbour on no reply". Please note as part of ScrimCitys terms and conditions, if delivery is to be left (as requested) without signature - ownership passes on to you at that point
Right to cancel, Returns and Refunds In the event that you cancel an order before the items have been despatched to you, we will give you a full refund of any monies paid within five working days of receipt of written notification from you that you wish to cancel your order (written means via post, facsimile or email). You also have a unconditional right to cancel your order during a period not exceeding 7 working days following the day after you receive your order. In the event that you cancel an order after the items have been despatched to you we will refund the full order value to you, within five working days of your having returned the items to us (at your expense) providing we receive them in an unused re-saleable condition - please call customer services to notify us of returns. Refunds will be made back to the method of payment used at time of purchase. ie Your credit/debit card, your account or a cheque.
Please note that your right to return items to us in accordance with these terms and conditions is in addition to any other statutory rights you may have.
Complaint Handling If you feel you have any reason for complaint, or if you just wish to let us know what services you feel we could improve, then freephone Customer Services on 0800 018 6645 (08:30am - 17:30 Monday to Friday) freefax on 0800 018 6651 (24hrs) or email orders@scrimcity.co.uk All compliants will be acknowledged within 2 working days of receipt. Customers will be kept informed of progress by telephone, fax, email or post. It is ScrimCitys intention to resolve complaints within 2 weeks of receipt. In all cases we will endevour to resolve complaints speedily, fairly and effectively. All correspondence will be conducted in the strictest confidence. We monitor and check our compliants procedures regularly to ensure that they work well and continue to improve.
VAT & Duty
All prices are quoted in pounds sterling (£) and are exclusive of UK sales tax (VAT). Prices displayed are exclusive of VAT. VAT Will Be Shown before the order is completed.
The current rate of VAT is 17.5%
Following an order being despatched an invoice or receipt will be included in the package or a copy emailed as a HM Customs accepted pdf attached file containing the necessary VAT breakdown information.

General These terms and conditions constitute the entire agreement between us in respect of the use of the website and the items and services offered via the website. We may vary these terms and conditions from time to time without notice and you should therefore check them each time you intend to make a new purchase.
If any of these terms and conditions are found to be invalid this shall not affect the validity of the remaining provisions which shall remain fully enforceable. No waiver by us of any term shall be deemed to be continuing or shall be deemed to be a waiver of any other term. |
